i finished the discworld book thief of time last week. really good. believe that takes me to the end of the death books within the series so i'm gonna take a little break from discworld for a while and make other progress on my tbr.
i appreciate that susan got a semihuman love interest at the end (and i bet their babies will be so fucked up metaphysical) but i was sort of under the impression, i'm not sure why, that she was going to find some way to get with the time-displaced dude from the first book she shows up in.
one of the things i like about discworld is how things like death and time and chaos aren't fixed, they change with society because they're products of belief. i may have mentioned this when i posted about hogfather as well but idk i think it's neat.
dunno. don't really have a lot else to say here. i got a tattoo today? i've been coping with the death of my best friend by spending more money than i really should? this week at work i excitingly only have three days i go into the office? i really need to get groceries? yeah. this is where im at rn
