isunshower | hell week approaches

so starting tomorrow i enter into what i have been, somewhat affectionately, calling "hell week".

to set the scene: i currently work two places. one of these is an internship with a set three day schedule every week. the other one is my job-job, which is paid hourly and where we are scheduled. i also sing in three choirs and a quartet (ask me more about the barbershop nerdiness after march is over, please), 3/4 of which are gearing up for a competition in two weeks. i have had to schedule time off from both these jobs to go to contest.

so here's my week.
- today (sunday): i do not work! yay!
- tomorrow (monday): i do not work! yay! but i have quartet practice at 8. monday evening is when hell week begins.
- tuesday: internship, and then straight to choir #1. will probably have to go buy concert attire in between.
- wednesday: real job. ordinarily i would have rehearsal for choir #2 on wednesdays, but past-me very wisely pulled out of their current concert because otherwise i would die from scheduling constraints.
- thursday: internship, and then straight to choir #3, which is over the state line and from which i get back very late.
- friday: internship, and probably additional quartet rehearsal.
- saturday and sunday: real job.
- monday: real job, and also quartet rehearsal.
- tuesday: internship and choir #1.
- wednesday: job-job
- thursday: internship. choir #3 is not having rehearsal the thursday before contest, because they love us.
- friday: off work, meet my ride at noon, quartet contest at 5.
- saturday: perform in the choir contest with choirs 1 and 3, and maybe the quartet finals if we're really lucky/unlucky. depends how you see it.
- sunday: wake up, very hungover, and drive back home.
- and then i work monday through friday.

i am fine, i am armed with snacks, and i am not going to get nearly enough sleep. it's gonna be great! :D
